fourth-walling Yes wrt werewolf mythology, no wrt to Teen Wolf — TV show or MJ Fox film.
backtagging Always! :3 I thrive off of backtagging, so if you're cool with it, so am I.
theadjacking If it's cool with the other player and isn't marked as private, do it.
offensive subjects and triggers If you are concerned, ask me! But I'm generally good with anything.

first impressions

visual Cora stands at 5'4", with sleek, dark brown hair, and brown eyes. Her hair is usually worn down, unless she's working out, where she ties it back. She tends to dress similar to a tomboy, opting for jeans, simple shirts, t-shirts with easy designs, and jackets, as well as boots and flats — occasionally she can be caught in her workout gear, consisting of black runners, black pants cut at the knee, and a sports bra. Cora hardly smiles. The expression she wears is borderline unimpressed.

demeanour Cora isn't bubbly. She's guarded, closed-off, sharp tongued, and easily aggravated. She believes herself to know it all, due to her own life experiences. She doesn't take very well to the usual social cues — if someone were to call her a name in jest, she may take offense to it or not see the humour in it at all. She's incredibly serious all the time — and described to be "grumpy" due to her not particularly smiling. Cora Hale is never vulnerable.

aural Have some Hale feelings. And the Hales acting like wolves. It's gross.

in character

hugging Cora's not big on affection. She won't react well unless she knows your character — and even then, she will most likely be taken off guard. Her reaction will either be a punch to the jaw or standing very still — or, if you're lucky maybe an awkward pat on the back as an act of reciprocation.
kiss You can try but you probably won't get very far. It depends on the nature of their relationship!
flirt She probably doesn't know what this looks like.
fight Definitely! Cora punches first, asks questions later. She has a few abilities that give her a bit of an oomph, but she's more into hand to hand combat, using her werewolf strength and claws.
injure Yes. I would prefer you talk to me first so the thread can be guided in that direction.
kill Discuss it with me first!
telepathy Go for it! Anything in the tags is up for grabs! Please don't grab information from the canon that I haven't included in the narration, however. (And if you would like to read his mind, please let me know so I know to put detail in my tags!)
fourth-walling Feel free to fourth wall about werewolves, but not on a Michael J. Fox film or the MTV series.
offensive topics and triggers
    — werewolves being deemed as "monsters", something inhumane and dangerous.
    — pro-arsonists.
    — hunters.
    — mistletoe.

werewolf
Cora is a werewolf! More importantly, she is a beta werewolf. She is part of a pack; she is considered stronger than an Omega, but not so much compared to an Alpha.

STRENGTHS
    — Accelerated healing
If Cora gets hurt, she heals.

    — Enhanced agility
Her reactions are much faster. She can run, jump, and climb very well and very fast.

    — Enhanced strength
Cora might look like a delicate flower but she has the strength of Goliath behind her.

    — Heightened senses
Cora can see, smell, and hear things much better than the average human. That whisper you just said in the very back of the room? She heard it. She can hear things that are miles away if their tone is sharp enough.

    — Memory transference
This is a really specific ability where a werewolf can insert their claws into the nape of someone's neck and give or take memories from them. This takes careful precision and practice.

    — Pain transference
She can absorb someone else's pain, alleviating it as a result, from people and other creatures. Sometimes this leads to actual healing. This can wear her out or even kill her if she does this on someone who has a intense case of pain and she attempts to try and take it all away.

WEAKNESSES
    — Electricity
This keeps them weak and in human form.

    — Hecatolite
This is a moonstone that can stop a werewolf from shifting for as long as they are in contact with it. Cora experienced this when she was locked in a bank vault for three months. Her lack of turning during this time had caused her ability to control herself while under the influence of the moon to diminish incredibly.

    — Inexperience
Inexperienced werewolves are under control of the full moon. They need to learn control to not become a slave to it. Their homicidal tendencies increase. The way to gain full control of ones' self is through force of will.

    — Lunar eclipse
She is entirely powerless during one.

    — Mistletoe
This is poisonous to Cora, so no kissing her under it, boys.

    — Mountain Ash
Mountain Ash is basically like a powder that can keep werewolves at bay. It's an impenetrable barrier. If Cora is trapped in one, she has to wait for a human to break it.

    — Wolfsbane
This causes hallucinations, can weaken, render unconscious, or even kill werewolves. The level of impact depends on the type, amount, and delivery method, but either way you spin it, wolfsbane is something Cora does not want near her.

    — Wounds from Alphas
These do not heal as quickly as other injuries.
