We're here because we have to learn something about ourselves. Alice didn't fall down the rabbit hole the first time to defeat some monster. She went on an adventure of self-discovery. If we're here to protect this place, the queens are doing a really great job at encouraging us to give a shit.

[ typed by someone who does not give a shit at all, even if she should. wonderland means more time with derek. wonderland means making up for six lost years. it's not for her to be occupied with some war that she doesn't know the true history of, with the world diverging from the books she knows. if it's frightened isaac to this extent, maybe cora should reconsider her stance and add the jabberwocky onto her list of things to research during her copious amount of downtime. ]

[ cora pauses in her typing, considering ignoring the latter half of isaac's text — not out of spite or anger, but because it's a concern she has, of never being able to see erica again and get the closure she needs of the adoptive sister who had risked her own hide for her back in the vault. nothing she does will ever truly make up for how much erica's own actions and decisions meant to her. having her in wonderland to only be ripped away had been more hurtful than that of any injury she's sustained in her short life. ]
